현재 공립대학으로 인정되고 있는 홍콩침회대학교는 1956년에 설립된 미션계 대학입니다. 기독교 교육을 목적으로 시작하였으나 1983년 종합대학으로 바뀌고 후에 종교 교육이 폐지 되어 예전의 종교성은 모두 베지되었습니다. 5개의 캠퍼스와 9개의 학부를 운영하고 있으며 여러 방면에서 국제적 시선을 갖춘 인재들을 많이 양성합니다.
